    I use a short chain from a clutch cover bolt hole to a bellhousing bolt hole.

    HG material was changed early in the 7M's production life but the torque spec wasn't updated to the correct spec for the new material used.

    Shouldn't have a big effect once you're at cruise and it goes closed loop. A bud here used to get outstanding highway mileage with those mods.

    02 sensor has the biggest single effect on our car's mileage (ruling out mechanical damage but your car sounds like it's looked after)

    Pete: Nah there's no physical connection between the Cable and the Needle, it has a magnetic coupling. My "guess" is there's some sort of stop that the Needle is meant to rest against (been ages since I had one apart).

    I used to easily get 360 miles to a tank when my car was NA at highway speeds. How old is your 02 sensor? 70L tank (65 usable)

    head torque

    I do mine in sequence using 3 passes ending in 5lb's under the desired setting, I then run the car through 3>5 heat cycles and retorque +5lbs. The idea with the 3 passes is so you're NOT bending the head at the bolt/stud you're pulling down.

    Don't know "why" but a simple fix would be to pop the needle off and put it back on at 0.

    How did you get the Aeromotive down to 25Psi? (they're 40Psi base going by the instructions I got with mine)

    Yes you can do it (NA's bound for hot climates had a version of the horrible GTE pressure based system installed stock) Have a look at the GTE section there a few good write ups on how to do a full flow T Stat based system.

    Snow: I don't run the TB port at all (don't have a stock TB) I "would" run it if it were there but it's very low capacity due to it's restriction. Using it and the Larger hoses/fittings to the accordian hose you could probably get away using -8 lines and fittings.
