    I'd be looking at one of the teflon coatings if Oil shedding is the aim, I wouldn't be comfortable trusting the Ceramic bond on a crank in case if flakes in use. Personally can't see a second in any of this.

    5 seconds is an eternity to be without Oil I RK'd my NA in I'd guess 2 seconds after braking hard to avoid an accident on the return leg of an 1600Km trip, it was low maybe 1qt and I forgot to check it before leaving... :(

    Cam Caps WTF....

    Anecdotal evidence I know but it does machine "differently" before and after Cryo Adam, seems to be less "sticky" on cutters so you can bump up the DoC and RoC on both. (also found a casting stays cold for a very long time after being treated)

    Going for the most expensive hardest solution first again I see..... :nono: Take it and have it aligned there's a huge range of adjustment in these cars... While it's on the hoist carefully inspect it before they start ask their opinion on any worn/damaged parts then relace if needed...

    My only advice is find something you like to do and people want/need then make that a career. I was expelled from school in year 9, 15 years old and have no regrets how my life turned out. I did MANY different jobs starting low in the food chain, no job was beneath me as long as they paid...

    I think/feel that unless you install an egt probe back there there's too many variables to even guess at a number Kris. If I were doing it I'd have some m>f extensions or a trombone slide on the resonator and grab the wife and head out in the real world and test.

    Where in the system? It loses massive amounts of heat as you get away from the Turbine outlet.
