    Cleaning cylinder walls before assembly

    I do my final wash the day of assembly using strong dish washing liquid and then a clean lint free rag soaked with CRC5-56 to wipe the machined surfaces down, Machined Iron will begin to rust in seconds once "Clean".

    Same same just awkward due to the shape. Also make sure you fit them in their correct location as the 2 are different.

    Don't know if my NA was a freak built out of left over parts at Toyota but it came with the GTE CC Vacuum pump and map sensor. I also run an NA Vacuum Reservoir and plumb it between the Intake and CC Motor to help with the above scenario.

    I got to the point they took my licence so I started riding a motorcycle so they wouldn't know it was me..... Eventually they got wise, I went out one morning to go to work and a cop car was parked across my driveway, I smiled waved as I walked past to the bus stop :D

    It wets it enough to be a lube for the install then dries leaving no residue unlike spit ewwww DNA and cooties! ;)
