    Can't say I'm suprised..... DISGUSTED but not surprised, this outcome is kind of expected and why I had a pair of stock cams hard face welded back when I built my 7M as I didn't want to risk shipping something as easily damaged.

    Unplug the ECT and leave it in 2 ;) The cable has NOTHING to do with shift timing.

    Same same but factory flexplates have a nasty habit of cracking around the centre so careful inspection is required if you're using one. I modded mine and added a second flex plate without the ring gear in place of one of the factory spacers.

Yes I've ran both in the exact same engine 2 weeks apart with no other change than the cranks, 7M is smoother till 6000+ then there's little difference in "feel", 6M is 6Lb's lighter so it's...

    ALL the same... Only difference being early starters use nuts and bolts later starters use bolts only and are much easier to R&R.

    Rolled in bubble wrap then slide each Cam into it's own post tube then tape the 2 tubes together.

    HATE the way some people ship things just to save a $ on the costs.... :nono: I always go a little over the top to make sure it arrives in the same condition it left here in.
