Why must I sometimes put R154 in 1st gear to get into reverse?

Or if you're shifting without using the clutch ;)

Intake Air Temp sensor placement question

Yep I like to have pre and post IC temps just for my own curiosity ;) The AEM "should" have a bunch of spare inputs you can plug another sensor into (I don't know for sure but I'd be surprised if it didn't) When I ran the sensors inside the engine bay and did my running compensations based...

Intake Air Temp sensor placement question

I run one on each side of the IC Couplers. All depends on what you're using to tune, standalone I find this works well as you can "adjust" to suit. At a rough guess a stock ECU would have compensations for heatsoak and engine bay temps, 3P might have some data on this.

    engine bearings

I've used NDC's, FedMogul over 500rwhp with no issues, my Crank shop said NOT to use the ACL's for that power level as they don't do M engine bearings in the Race series and the garden variety have delamination issues. Can't comment on others apart from I personally WOULDN'T use King bearings...

    engine bearings

A hell of a lot, more power = a bigger bang and a harder push on the piston, rod, bearing , Oil film and crank..... King BiMetal bearings actually deform and splooge out the sides like silly putty in high HP engines, saw a motor at my crank shop that ran C77 rods and King Bimetals in the...

NDC's in some ACL's in others.... They don't do the Race series for M engines, my crank shop steered me away from them for high hp builds (500+).

    Block Prep

Do all of the above then report back here after you wind the boost up and it fails..... Keeping in mind that the engine may fail well before the HG from the crap you've introduced after sanding the deck and not plugging the Oil galleries/ drain passages or sealing the pistons to the bores so...

    92nsx's supra build

Cool :) The SSAC header hits the Canton adaptor.... (can be modded to fit though as the adaptor is thick enough to machine)

    Block Prep

Unless the block surface is smooth/flat/true it will fail with the HKS, "some" people have rolled the dice and had success but the vast majority fail and end up redoing the jpb properly and at worst end up doing a full rebuild after the Coolant/Oil mix trashes the bearings. Toyota HG is quite...
