SOGI Short Shifter Mod - Winner or Loser?

I did the SOGI mod on my 86.5 and wish I never did. It was notchy, and made a horrible whine and grinding noises. Secondly, I could never get any shift knobs to stay on for very long. no matter how tight I made them, within a few days they would come loose again. I would never do it again...

    is this a good deal?

Worth it just for parts. If I had space and the money I would already have that car.

    Clear side indicator units......1st prototype

yeah I suppose, but having the lenses done that way from the start would save me trouble. Im just not a big fan of clear lenses.

    Clear side indicator units......1st prototype

I asked before but got no responce...is there a way to do those lenses in a clear "smoke" color? Just a slight gray would really blend in nicely on factory moldings.

    IC pipe sizes

Thanks for the links, But really my question was kinda lost in my rambling. What Im trying to ask is...If Im leaving the stock piping on the cold side, would it do any good to have larger piping on the hot side? My guess is NO, but wanted to ask anyway. But, it kinda doesnt matter now, as I...

    IC pipe sizes

ok, Im trying to sort out what the previous owner did to this car, and Im a little confused and need the wisdom of more turbo savy people. My question is about using different diameter IC pipes and their effect on air volume and speed. The outlet off the CT-26 is 2". My first question is would...

dam get my car running... what do you guys think?

Code 14 is your IGN signal to your ECU and that could definately make it not start. Its probably your Igniter or coil pack. Make sure the little ground wire is there on the coil pack. Goes from the mounting bracket to the vavle cover, alot of people overlook it. Probably want to double check...

Well, so far, nearly all of my mods have been low or no budget, just lots of time. And I had some money squirreled away that my soon to be ex-wife didnt know about :naughty: Money I dont have, time I got lots of!

Well, after an all day afair (and stuff to finish up tomorrow) I got the FMIC remounted. Raised it up about 3 inches. Contrary to what I thought before, the space behind the TurboA duct was NOT cutout...lol, what a dork! So I got that hacked out as well. I should be getting some nice airflow to...

    Lucy - Im home!

Ive got the one I took off my car. It smoked a little on startup, but otherwise spooled just fine. Its got a few small "dinks" on the blades. I suspect its a ton better than the one you have. I could have continued to run it if I ddint get a good deal on the one I bought. I'll take $80 for it...

    Lucy - Im home!

Only took a couple of hours to polish...then the rest of the day to install it. I truely hate the oil supply and return lines! As for the last couple of days, I finally got all my boost leaks solved and got the one low hanging IC pipe tucked up better. Which is a good thing because I...
