    just for reference, we dont have *gaskets* for the oil pan, its really a sealer called FIPG. its really sticky stuff. maybe if you drain the oil completely, use some degreaser ( a *little* bit) around the leaky spot, and spread some of the FIPG on there it'll stop for a bit. this is a temporary...

    from what i've read, venom injectors aren't nearly as good of quality as RC/lucas/nippon injectors. though, i cant remember where i read it. maybe it was mkiiitech. if i remember correctly, dr. jonez said venoms suck. i have no personal experience with them, as i have lucas injectors :)...

    on both the GE and GTE. they are both controlled by the ECU. adjusting that screw will just make the computer compensate for how much you moved it, essentially putting you right back to square one. it shouldnt take a few days. go out and romp on it for a bit. it should take about 10...

    you sir, are correct. :) no matter what you do to that idle screw, the ECU will still control what the idle is doing. on late model cars, the idle screw is still there, its just capped off so people cant screw around with it. ;) -shaeff

    i cant imagine that the turbo would allow coolant into the oil, though, you never really know... sounds like a BHG has taken residence in your 7m:( i've never heard of someone losing a turbo like that, but it certainly doesnt cross it off the list. -shaeff

    what year was the porsche, approximately? the '87 porsche and '87 supra were 'direct competition' according to a magazine article i read a while back. it was 'dependent on drivers' i believe. regardless, nice kill, as that is a nice brand name to add to your kill list:) -shaeff

    Coil Pack Ground Cable

    i made one in about 2 minutes. just use two crimp connectors of different sizes, (i soldered the wires in mine after i crimped them) then used brush on electric tape (awesome stuff) to seal up the connections. it's been working flawlessly... -shaeff

    many people remove the coolant lines. i'm one to believe that it doesnt HURT to have them there. it DOES help cool the turbo, so i left mine :) -shaeff
