Yep they're 3/4 ton size 1550's from memory, Hardy Spicer do a slip yoke to fit an r154/a340e and the other bits are Strange Engineering parts to suit the bigger tubes and Uni's.
As noted I'm a bit concerned by DS failures so doing it this way removes that.

You'd need to do the calculations for critical speed on a steel 1 piece, I tend to stay away from them in general as my cars tend to rev quite hard and are driven at high speeds so a shaft failure is a huge concern.

LOTS of crap hiding in the Crank has made an appearence in the Rod bearings.
(circular scuff on some shells in line with the Oil holes)
