    Mine improved a noticable amount with the LSx swap, a lot less front end push on entry to fast corners and you could wind the steering off much sooner on exits.

    LSx Manifold I used is plastic, as long as you don't backfire them they're fine with boost....

    Due to human physiology using an 8" plate I seriously doubt you'll ever get a true surface, mine is 12"x12" with handles at the centrepoint and I wouldn't try what you're doing.

    Lapping is a finishing process only, you need to start with a milled true surface so shouldn't be removing enough material tol make a difference.

    Unless you use a QuickSpool valve that 1.24 AR Turbine is going to be a joke...might spool between 6000>6500 then the limiter will stomp it at 7000....

    Condensation/dissimilar metals it's had 15+ years to build up, I chased my brand new out of the box 7M Block it's just part of correct preparation, I don't half ass engine builds.

    Wire brush and degreaser ISN'T going to remove corrosion.... If you're going to do the job may as well get the right tool to do it properly.

    I was pretty happy with 4.10's and 285/35/18" tires it was a good compromise for a road car.
