when i did my KS rewire, i didnt remove the starter. i just pulled off the plug from behind it. ('89 motor) it was easy enough. most people have to finagle it a bit, but mine just popped right off. :)
by the way, i'm assuming you have an 89+ motor/car?

thanks man. my car is in no physical condition to be on 7MP. :( it's ugly as hell, actually. but my #'s should be nice.
today i ran the tank real low (gas gauge as far down as possible) and put some 93 octane in it. i really BOOSTED for the first time today. it felt damn nice. i have 3...
i sure hope so. i've just had a fire lit under my ass, as of 20 minutes ago. my daily driver '94 toyota 4x4's starter decided to die in my girlfriend's driveway. that means that i HAVE to get the supra done. (already had a starter coming from champion, as of early this week, hopefully it's here...
first of all, did you remove the CPS from the head? if so, you'll need to re-set base timing.
if you didnt: check the 7.5 amp IGN fuse in the driver's kick panel. if that's blown, you wont get spark. ;)
if you did remove the CPS, read on:
set the crank pulley to 0*, and make sure the...
so, i went out and boosted a little today. i didnt floor it, as i still have a little 87 octane gas in the tank, mixed with 93. i let it build to 5psi. boost came on sooo fast though! at 5psi the car really got up and started moving! i cant wait til i work all the kinks out of it to crank that...
get a walbro, and you'll most likely be safe. having your injectors cleaned wouldnt hurt, either. i'm anal about stuff like that. i would never run more than 10psi on the stock fuel system, even though many people do...

that's awesome info! im not sure if i would have done the custom jobber if i had known that! god damn i hated that mold...
HTS: the cops around me arent very strict, nor would they even notice that the reflecive part is covered. i wish i could find my before/after pics. my tails looked...
you might not want to just put your boost to 20psi. work your way up, and tune the car accordingly... ;) dropping that stuff in and boosting 20psi on the stock turbo is going to get you in alot of trouble very quickly.
the CT loses efficiency after about 15psi. that, and the fact that you...
still cant find that CD anywhere, but i took some quick shots for you all. i cant wait to nightshade them, as i think they will look really badass. :)
(again, please remember that my car hasnt been cleaned in 9 ish months. ;))

on to the pics:
too many people throw them on, boost up, dont hit FC, and melt their pistons... besides, with a LEX afm, you dont need it. fuel cut IS there for a reason, believe it or not. :)

thank you. i believe many people didnt like them on the SM pre-hack. whatever, i do this for me, not for others. thank you for the compliment. :)
the other pics that i seem to have lost have much higher resolution pics, and they look SO good. that pic in my avatar, they hadnt been cleaned in...
it's our stock oil filter mount that bleeds off the pressure into the oil cooler. to fully take advantage of a larger oil cooler, you'll need to eliminate the stock mount, and get a thermostatically controlled unit setup.
