Could be worse... recent case here a guy got nailed for excessive noise and under the Hoon legislation his car was impounded, the story was he nailed it in 1st no loss of traction just let it run to the limiter short shifted to 3rd then got pulled over..

It also arms you for future stops if the Officer is on his rags and decides to hassle you just say that so and so officer checked the tint's legality BEFORE you installed it ;)
Grab a couple of different samples of film take them to the police station tell them you want to make it legal and ask if they can use their tint checker to work out which film is right.
Most times if you ask for help you'll get it they're NOT the enemy.

You can ramp up the fans so there's no huge inrush of current to drive them, in my LS Swap with 4x Fans it would nail the 140amp alternator if everything hard started... :aigo:
You'll find the combination has a natural equilibrium point, my car was 91c/195f and that's where it maxxed out under boost once everything was "right" this of course would vary with ambient temps but not as much as you'd expect, from memory I was running an 88c T Stat and was bringing the fans...
There are a few variables you need to take into account, but 43psi with the Vacc line blocked is a good start point.
The way it is now I wouldn't let it come on boost at all as "incipient detonation" will kill the engine without you even knowing it's happening.
