Many thanks to AEM for shitty quality control! :biglaugh:
I will not be buying any more AEM products, their customer service is teh shitz.
Here was the ones I originally got, the two on there now are better but still not the same.
Keep in mind they only have one part number for blue, and...
No, I believe the Garrett hype now, it's true. This seems like a good matched turbo to my engine, with way more overhead for when I add more boost. The wastegate is bypassing some serious exhaust pressure out at 17 psi!
OMG, when I was on the way home a lowered G35 with nice wheels pulled up...
Way earlier then the 62-1 did, it's drives like a different car now. Way more useable power. The engine is stock with just forged pistons and mhg. I don't really remember the rpm it hits full boost but it spools as fast as my 50 trim did, but at a little higher rpm. It makes positive pressure...
Got the 7m on the dyno after working on it till 4:30am the morning before.
17psi on pump gas. The maft pro is proving to be a real pita to tune.
We did almost 40 pulls. Much of that was cam gear adjustments.
You would definitely not want to block the return line. The pressure needs to be regulated, and to do that the pump supplies the fuel at a higher pressure and the regulator bleeds off the excess fuel pressure back to the the fuel tank. The fuel pump does not regulate the pressure so if you...
It has a 1jz-ge?!? That would be a first. Post some pics of the engine bay so I can see what you are looking at. The cost of the engine itself will be the less then all the other items and labor needed though.
No money, no place to work on it, and no other car to drive.
That should be the three prerequisites of owning a mk3! :biglaugh:
We will prey it will fix itself.
Sell both, get a car that gets better gas mileage and requires less maintenance, work on the "not enough money" thing, then buy a better Supra when you can really afford it. Keep the economy car to drive while you mod the Supra. :biggrinki
I took the time to write this response to someone last night so I figured someone else might like to read it. If you have anything to add, please feel free.

How bov's work:
The bov has a vacuum line to the intake...
You don't need coolant going to it, it would not need cooling. You do have a point about the exhaust temp, but it would still get the same pressure and we are only talking about 5-7psi here so you don't need much to make that happen. As for oil you could get a oil filter sandwich adapter and...
But to answer your actual question of possibilities why it is not opening:
1)You may not have a good vacuum line going to bov, the vacuum line may have a leak. Pull it off the bov and check it has good vacuum.
2)You may have the spring in the bov adjusted too tightly, back it off.
3)The...
