We have seen a whole lot of jza70's but we have never seen anything but a 4.10 torsen come with them. Maybe they were only sold in certain markets? I can see how JDM cars would not want a lsd because of the ice and snow.

That's funny, my 4x4 toyota truck had 4.56 gears.......with the factory 31" tire option though :biglaugh: 4.56 is a little too low for a street car, 1st gear will be almost useless, and 5th will be more like 4th. The cool thing is when you finally get the 26" dubs installed it will be just right!

$375 would be enough to buy all the pipes and most of the hoses on a 7m brand new from Toyota. If it's the metal coolant pipe that wraps around the back of the block then that is tough to change with the engine in the car but he cost of the pipe itself is no where near $375.

500 on pump gas might be pushing it, you are going to need over 20psi and that is where it gets a little iffy on pump gas, at least on 91 octane...

The hose goes to the isc :icon_wink Actually it will go to the isc but I ran out of time to get it done before Vegas and I put it back temporarily. And I'm sure you are not totally stupid. LOL

You still need the isc, but it does not have to pull in metered air like on the stock afm. The engine will not even run when it is cold without the isc, unless you have the throttle open all the time which will make your warm idle way too fast.

The 1j block is just as stout as a 2j! :biglaugh: :icon_razz

Your project is coming along, keep up the good work! Not sure exactly how many circuits you will end up with but if you have more then you need it will be ok, and you may do future upgrades and need more. 12 sounds like it would be enough, but if 18 is not a lot more money then maybe go with...
