Dan: It's NOT a "1" :p
You just remove the offending rivet, some say it's been moved in later MHG's but I'd check anyway.
Easiest/safest way I found to remove it is a small pair of wire cutters just squash the small end then pull it though from the big side.
I've had very good success...
I may be very well a douche in your uninformed opinion but I've forgotten more about cars in general and Mk3's and machine work than you'll ever know and I just happen to be a Mod so feel free if you want to push this any further...your call..
Might want to rethink the Dick comment, if I was being a Dick I'd have said YOU ARE A CLUELESS FUCKING WANKER instead of suggesting it'd be a good idea to remove the incorrect info before the guys here picked up on it and gave you shit for the next month that I'd have to clean up...
can't...
No 7M's have Cast cranks they're all forged both the 6M and the 7M ones.
Had to wonder at the TRD cams as there's a LOT of extra machine work to get them room to swing in a 7M head not to mention unless you had a High Stall in the Auto it'd be a total pig to drive.
Same reason I'm NOT a member on SFAU....
Still NOT seeing an answer to my Cam question here or in your thread...
(you Sig still says "Stroked 7MGTE" as well sigging parts you don't have makes you look like a total wanker)
LOL it it nipped up a ring or 6 it'd break the ringlands like that, more usual is detonation this is the extra insurance forged pistons buys you can rattle it a few times before destruction, cast not so much ;)
1 extra layer that's rolled/folded on the Stopper, as I said up there the Stopper is overkill and will still blow if something goes "wrong".. none of the HG's for a 7M is bullet proof some just take more abuse before letting go, the danger here is if there are other weak links in the chain they...
