There are also a bunch of plastic blockers around the Rad with foam seals, most Mk3's are MIA, undertray is good for 3>5c at highway speeds, if your Rad/AC Condenser are blocked/damaged this could be enough to tip you over the edge, 3/4 on the stock gauge is DAMN hot!
The car scene is overrun with kids that have watched too much Initial D/FnF and car "reality" shows and think all you need is some overnight parts from Japan and you can bolt together a 1000rwhp combo that will decimate all.... :nono:
Most of these guys can rattle off a parts list for this...
Much prefer an auto to a wheel gun, as the guys noted earlier in the thread it's all about finding the "right" gun and not buying something because it looks "cool"...
And it takes practice to get "good" if you can't afford to shoot you'll never be good so expensive ammo is out unless you're...

Shot a Super RH here at the range, the owner was a bit of a meathead and used to blast away at Chinese food containers scattered around the range, you only had to get within a few inches and the container jumped in the air carried up by the dirt....

I always adjusted the height on mine so it engaged just off the floor then set the brake pedal to match, doing this the floor acts as a pedal stop so you don't overtravel the clutch and miss shifts
Stock brakes 2 stops for 200Kmh = no brakes...
Flush and replace fluid and it got 4 stops before no brakes...
They just don't have the Mass needed for repeated high speed stops and boil even the best fluid.
My Mk4 DBA5000/4000 combination with the AP 4 spots and Motul fluid did 55...
No T Stat the Oil takes a long time to get to operating temps/viscosities, wouldn't be a problem if you waited but most people will lean on the engine before then and this increases wear chance of damage as the engine needs to be at it's correct operating temp for clearences to be within spec...
