    Did it this way when I did the 1UZ/Cressida engine mounts so I could drop the subframe, worked perfectly but all I used was a piece of 2" Steam pipe and 2 short pieces of 6mm aluminium angle up behind the strut studs.

    You HAVE to flow more to make the same HP as Gas, it has better detonation resistance and you get a slight cooling effect from the volume of fuel going into the engine so you can run more spark advance/boost and make more power.

    You will be able to get either Camber OR Toe correct not both with that drop, to get both right you need to shorten the lower transverse arms 15mm.

    Buy some Load Binder straps, I use small 750 Kg ones, put support bar across the towers then tighten binder, unbolt engine mounts pull binder tighter then swap out the mounts no need to drop the subframe.

    I had a used Composite I kept for boring/honing, once compressed there shouldn't be much difference in block loading to an installed MHG.

    Lots of sleeve products out there, SS Braid will saw through anything it comes in contact with is clearences are tight.

    Decided to run without a shroud.

    Used to run my car to 8300 just about everytime I drove it and never had a failure..
