    Would all depend on "where" they were pumping it in, might have come up against the antidrainback valve and never made it as far as the pump Jordan!

    I replaced mine with 2005 Holden Commodore arms/blades, it wasn't a plugNplay job as I had to keep the rest of the car bolted to them ;)

    I usually pack Pumps with some light grease before installation, wonder if it was bone dry as I suggested earlier?

    Sorry can't answer that one being on the other side of the planet to you ;) 2J GE's should be plentiful/affordable though.

    2J would be my choice by far, as 222 said leave it GE for now so it's reliable and you can enjoy and DD it, done right you can run it on the 7M electronics for now saving time/effort/expense. The 2J has far more potential down the track when it's time to add a Turbo, the extra 500cc isn't to...

    The JDM plastic CC is MUCH smaller than the Steel one.

    Toyota Select fit bearings have different ID and OD's (look at the chart in the TRSM to figure out what you have) The block will also be stamped on the pan rail. Clevite/NDC's will ALL have the same OD and only 1 ID per "size" so you can't mix and match to get perfect clearences like Toyota...

    Can't see a reason to import a car that's available in your country... most people doing this think it's going to get them a cheap car, not the case once you add in all the costs and the fear of it being crushed...
