the one left over wire was tapped off and away so i had to open up the wire harness to find it. i just got a spade connecter from another harness i had lying around and soldered it on there. i havent ran the car yet but im sure the fan will come on now once the car comes up to temp.
i wouldnt say at all that this sounds like a BHG. there is far too little information provided to make any kind of valid guess for this guy. my post was sarcastic.
does anyone know which temperature switch controls the aux electric fan(s)?
i know that:
the one on top of the waterneck is the cold start switch (two wire plug)
the one down low on the side of the waterneck is the ECU water temp sensor (two wire plug)

50 bucks? this costs ~3 dollars. you can also get another PCB board from someone on the forums for however cheaply they want to sell it for.
umm there has already been a fix for getting a NA tach to work with GTE electronics. see drjonez's site: 4cefed.com
you can do that or just get a PCB from a GTE cluster....

first off all you describe a full rebuild, no shit a 100000 mile motor could use a rebuild :). number 2, bending the pickup down takes all of uh 3 seconds? its not even needed. by the time you get to forged pistons you are a little far off...
