good luck dude. if there is one thing i have learned while owning this car is that there is NO reason to rush ANY job. if you dont have the time to do it the right way, or dont feel like it, just park the thing and wait till you feel inspired to get under there again.

i recommend: dual walbros with a -6 line from each feeding each end of the rail and a -8 return. two inline filters of course and some way to moniter each pump. of course dont forget your <insert brand here> adjustable FPR on that return from the rail. ** with dual pumps youll be able to flow...

there really is no "slidding the tranny out a bit", by the time youre able to do that you might as well remove the tranny all together. it is around a 3 hour job if youve never done it before.

first off do a leak down test or cooling system pressure test. that will tell you FOR sure if you have any leaks. no guessing games. then you can try torquing down the head some more.
