yes. The 12v mod was done through the harness. The fuel pump kicks on when you throw the key to ACC. I'm getting 12.4 Volts off the plug in the trunk.
Rofl Wes get out of here!!
Checked that. With the aeromotive then tried the stock fpr. No change.
I ended up blowing up the diaphram after taking it off and putting 120psi thru it. So I'll pick up the $25 rebuild kit so I can slap that back on so I can watch it some more.
I put the same dm bypass hos. On my custmers 2jzgte. Just finished his single swap with the same to4r turbo. He doesn't have a 3k breakup.
It's odd Aarron. Steven ran the same hose on his stock 1jz no problem, but mine didn't.
I wonder if it has to do with being jzz30 or jza70?
His was a...
IMO I would try fixing the problem on stock ecu. Or close to it before trying to just tune it out. I have a AEM FIC and I could of tuned it out, and I did try that, it's just right as the turbo wants to spool. its cause you have to add a whole bunch of fuel at the 3k breakup... Which is...

I had the same problem when I first got my 1jz running.
It ran fine one day, then this happened. Tach would jump around and it would starting cutting and running
like crap. Went away then came back. Fianlly it died and wouldn't start up.
Turned out that my Crank angle sensor, the one behind...
We should really contact Aaron about this problem.....
Anyway I dug through my stuff and found this:
it's from a 2jzgte. The owner went to a dm bypass line (haven't started it yet) rofl.
I'll think I'll borrow it to test my cut.
