umm. running oil into the car is not very smart. this is a BAD idea.

yeah those straps are a little tricky. the key is to not tighten either of them down, just get the bolts threaded in both of them first, otherwise itll be hard to line it up right with one strap tightend down all the way.

if i were having the problem described, i would continue to use smb for authorization (in windows i am unfamiliar with this, im a unix only shop...) and use NFS for data.

cap off the vacuum line on both sides...under the accordian hose and at the vacuum tree thingy under the intake manifold.

umm, never get under a car supported only by ANY type of jack, scissor, floor jack or otherwise. always use jackstands.

i did this with a piece of pipe i found at home depot. works great as an adapter. it makes the sogi mod 100% better than using a shift knob with set screws. i am using the stock shift knob and it feels great.
