id think if you were running a pre 89 ECU you could find a way to rig the pressure sensor (the one behind the glove box) to reference manifold pressure.

by law you cant put in a motor that was never offered here. so the 1jz is out.
also, any engine you put in your car that was sold in america, has to be of the same year or newer than the engine that origionally came with your car.

... you said you dont want gasoline vapors in your engine bay, of course not. but you realize that you can just cap off the line that was going to the CC and drill a hole in your gas cap in order to vent it right?
