Further progress. Tranny and driveshaft have been removed. The entire undercarriage has been power washed, 2 coats of sound deadener applied, and painted over with gloss black paint. Not only will this keep road noise down to a minimum, but it should never rust either. Once I get the vehicle to...
I don't mind doing the install myself. I've already built a fiberglass sub box for the trunk. I just don't want to mess with anymore fiberglass, I don't have the proper working space anymore for fabrication.
Please let me know if you will consider this. I can't speak for anyone else who...
I used sheets. I'll have to take a pic of the bottom of the box one of these days. It's hella thick. The subs do indeed require more than .65cuft. They require .80cuft sealed. I've decided to cut out the front brace of the box and give each sub their own 1.0cuft. OZ says they should sound great...
Looking for some front, ported speaker pods to house 6 1/2's with around 2 1/2" of mounting depth. Prefer mounting on door panel rather than in kicks unless they can be fabricated to keep dead pedal (doubt it tho).
Not worried retaining the spare tire at all. As for the targa top, that box sits near flush with the trunk floor, so fitting the targa back there won't be an issue. I haven't had time to mess with the car for several weeks, so there hasn't been much progress since I first posted pics. Plus, I'm...

Engine bay cleanup is underway. The driverside of the bay is almost smooth again...
Correct. I will lose the entire spare tire well. I'm planning on running 19"s in the back and 18"s in the front. So a spare tire does me no good.
Garage #1 (where engine and parts are housed) is located in Hagerstown just off the Maugansville exit.
Garage #2 (Where vehicle is housed) is...
Well, I finally got around to test fitting my fiberglass sub box. It sits flush in the spare tire well and will house 2 10"s nicely. It's currently setup for .65 cuft per side, however, I'm planning on drilling out the back divider and giving each sub a full 1.0cuft. The box itself is crazy...
I just looked at the my mounted factory IC and realized that even it is crammed next to the factory a/c condensor. If I'm going to use a larger FMIC (24" x 18" x 4"), do I have to remove the condensor? If so, how can I retain my a/c? Are there smaller condensor's available that will work?

Not endorsing it, I just got a kick outta them mocking it up on a 7M. Gotta love the PVC.
What pumps the coolant to and from...
I'm talking battery in factory location, alternator, A/C, and all sensors.
My new engine's ready for install and I don't want to clutter up the bay with all the piping required for the OEM Intake Mani. I'm ready to upgrade my stock IC setup therefore need to decide on whether or not to go...
I'm digging that spark plug galley cover, third valve cover, or whatever you call it. Valve covers lookin sharp too all shaved down. Where do they vent? Out the back?
