Often times a pressure test won't yield good results. I did a pressure test on my Supra's cooling system, and it held pressure just fine, but I definitely had a leak, which I eventually found.

I replaced put Nylon bushings in the lower control arms, so I just heated the center sleeve/cut bolt w/ a torch until I could slide it out of the gooey rubber, and then cut the rest of the bushing out in order to put the Nylon in. Of course, if you're trying to save the bushing, that's not an...

Also check for pinholes in any coolant hoses. Even a tiny pinhole will cause temp spike problems. You drive, the system is pressurized, it leaks the coolant out, you shut off the car, air seeps in and creates air pockets. I'm pretty sure the old styles aren't available through the dealer anymore w/o the key code, which means they can't look it up by the VIN.

Just use some muscle. Mine go in w/ a little muscle, and I've got Nylon UCA bushings. Oh yeah, and you best hope that your eccentric bolts aren't seized on the front LCA's. :( If they are, you're in for a serious treat.

It's one of the two major restrictions on the intercooler piping system. The other is that stupid cast elbow at the bottom between the turbo's compressor side and the intercooler. :) Do away with them both and enjoy better response.
