The regular MAFT doesn't switch you over to speed/density. It uses a GM hot wire sensor. The MaftPro w/ speed/density harness switches you to speed/density.

No it doesn't. The window doesn't come back up until the door is fully closed- the microswitch in the doorjamb takes care of that. ;) And don't push on the window. If people do that to my M3 or Supra, they die.

It's stock on all e36 3 series BMW's. ;)

This is likely the reason they were never made. (Aside from the JDM units that don't work that well) There IS a way around the window deal, though. Have you ever been in an e36 BMW 3 series? They have a special way of sealing the windows. When you pull the door handle, the window moves down...

It doesn't matter if you're rear wheel, front wheel, all wheel, or 40 wheel drive. If you hit black ice, no amount of wheels are going to help you. My rule: don't drive aggressively in the winter. ;) Glad you all made it out in one piece, and continue to live healthy lives. Think twice next...

What are you trying to do? If it's raise fuel cut, you'll need some 550cc injectors, the Lexus AFM housing, fuel pump, drill the jtube, etc... Read this: http://rob.carlile.home.mchsi.com/lexus/lexus1.htm If that's what you're trying to do, then you really need to be more clear when asking...

You misunderstood the question. :) He was asking if he could use the Lexus electronics on the stock housing. The answer to that, as posted already, is yes. :)
