The turbo will always deaden the sound you are looking for. You might think about exhaust tuning if you must turbo. The car does sound good, I agree.

I had a 99 ML 430 for a while. It was actually pretty fast, all wheel drive. Parts are crazy expensive, and the brake rotors are composite, so they wear kinda like the pads. cha-ching. I got rid of that, and got my 4runner because the ML didn't have a window in the back that opened. It...
