not true. not only do they sell the clips seperately, since they were a recall at one point, i believe... i was supposed to get a bag of ten, but they shipped only one, which was good since thats all i wanted. the part number i got is 90468-04126

i would suggest running thicker than 10w30 anyway... i believe that's probably your problem. if not.. shim buuuut... my money's on oil

my autolites didnt break, but the gap mysteriously closed up over time... i'm not sure why and it's actually a little disturbing to me wondering why it may have happened... i believe my autolite days are done... never really liked them anyhow, through other peoples experiences.
