um... if you cut the wires, the ecu will go into "safe mode" and advance timing a ridiculous amount. it will have no power and you will be a sad boy. leave them. if there's one thing not to mess with on the 7m, it's the knock sensors. back away from the wire cutters.

why would you want the pump a-runnin when you're sleepin? in some more serious thought, you could, indeed run the pump directly off the battery. using a relay, there could be a constant 12v 10awg wire going from the battery, through the relay, and to the pump. then, using an 18awg trigger...
