i had the same problem.
i did not, however, shim the slave.
what it was, turned out to be my master cylinder leaking.
i still dont understand how that could lead to my clutch slipping, but since i replaced it, all is better, however the life of my clutch is probably somewhat reduced...
lol.
"high flow JDM power steering reservoir"
"designed to cool and control fluid better than oem tank"
haha... i hate the whole "JDM" marketing hype...
that is a nice looking tank, but the marketing ploy is hilarious.
and bigaaron: i was going to put mine in the space between the...
adjuster: these are some very interesting ideas... hmm...
and, yeah, fox bodies have an amazing aftermarket for chassis-stiffening goodies...
ne0z: pictures.
um... if you cut the wires, the ecu will go into "safe mode" and advance timing a ridiculous amount. it will have no power and you will be a sad boy.
leave them.
if there's one thing not to mess with on the 7m, it's the knock sensors.
back away from the wire cutters.
no flowmaster... what's the deal with people wanting to put baffled mufflers on turbo cars?
only choose a flowmaster if you have an N/A.
and there are plenty of companies that make awesome mufflers that look nothing like the standard "fartcan" that is so popular. i had one of these said...
why would you want the pump a-runnin when you're sleepin?
in some more serious thought, you could, indeed run the pump directly off the battery.

there are a couple partscars for sale near me and one has a nice big IC. jokingly, my friend says "lets just go there at night and grab it... there's no bumper."
i almost punched him in...
woo hoo!
baker precision was the forgotten one. they have some damn good prices (about a year and a half ago...) and i couldnt even begin to remember what their name was.
thanks guys. and that circle track race shop is a good idea... only i have nothing of the sort in my area.
yep. after pulling the dash out of my partscar, which i had done in under 30 mins (and this was the first time), any time after that one, i think i can get the dash out of any mk3 in under a minute and a half. haha
in all seriousness... get an 18v drill and an adapter so you can use 1/4"...
where is the best place you guys have found to purchase AN fittings, mostly... i can get ssbraided hose around here for a pretty good price. i had a site saved way back when i wanted to do this before.. but now i think i'm really going to. so, anybody, everybody, chime in. if this gets good...
i would make my car a caged street/track slut. gt40 dual ball bearing, tremec tko, jic flta2's and some lightweight wheels. paint it up real nice. it would be almost show quality, but be able to kick the shit out of whatever you bring, short of a cbr600 shifterkart.
then i would look for a...
