could be valve stem seals... my ic had tons of oil in it. i flushed it out with gas 5 or 6 times and oil was still coming out, but it never burned as you described... flush your ic. cant hurt, and if it still burns oil afterwards, then you know its not the ic. i would say it may be valve...

yep. im with cwapface. (that sounds funny...) but, yeah... play on its strong parts. dont worry about replicating things in carbon fiber... its really not worthit. the hatch is not that heavy. the glass is what's heavy... i would use lexan, not plexiglass... find some uv resistant lexan...

..uh.. nope. if anything else, it's called a lock cylinder. the tumblers are the little pieces inside that "read" the keycode. i would call it an ignition lock also... or an ignition lock cylinder.

loose steering... worn steering shaft (not likely at 105k) tie rods (inner and/or outer) possibly even ball joints. when you bring it to get tuned up, ask the mechanic to give it a once over and see if there's anything he suggests. but bring it to a reputable mechanic. not one who will...
