loosing oil out of here. help please

Oil pump is in the crank case under the pan. The oil pump driveshaft is spun by the timing belt and there is a seal for that. Looks like a main/cam seal. Timing belt has to come off for that as well.

    ECU Location For Motor Swap

You can put any motor in any car. Just need to wire up ignition switch and run power for the Ecu. It's just like doing a jz swap in a mk3 but your putting a 7m in a Chevy. NO need to get all mad about it.

Noise from drivetrain, felt through floorboard

Best bet would be to get under car with a screwdriver to your ear or a stethoscope and listen while it's running.

Noise from drivetrain, felt through floorboard

There just Honda v2 aem repinned. Atleast for the 1jz they are as they use te same plugs. For 7m might just have like a patch harness.

    stand alone ecu

Ya there in that link. Still have to run harness tho. And still cheaper than most other ones. Tho the aems are nice cause there pnp.

ms3 is prolly the cheapest of all standalones because you have to build it all. But its a good system, http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/megasquirt-iii-c-76.html?osCsid=d260b9123b811fc7dc29a19d13810f73

    stand alone ecu

Could look for a used one. There is also mega squirt 3. You build it yourself and can basically make it do anything you want and run your own harness.

Going back to factory cat-back... How much power should I expect to lose?

Why not just save or look for a quieter cat back that's 3in. I have a greddy sp with deleted resonator and gutted cat and my car is still quite with no drone. Buddy has a Apexi noir with no resonator or cats and it's quite. There is also the Apexi world sport that is quite as well...

    godspeed turbos

I would stay away from them. 400$ for a t72 doesn't sound too good to me. If it were me I'd get a precision Garrett its turbonetics borg Warner or even a holset. Also if your not looking for crazy power something like a 61-67mm turbo will be plenty. The amount of lag will be determined by...
