That's the pilot bearing.
Did you already pull it apart? If not put it back the same way it came out.

Pull all the things attaching to the dash and there is like 6 bolts holding the dash on.
Watch out for the dick clips where the dash attaches to the body by the windshield. They just pop out but can break when moving dash in and out.
I would think its more of the rear End then the clutch. Gould last more than a few launches. I've beat the crap out of mine and it's still fine. Dm stage 2 6puvk.
Umm ya. If you run the hydro shield with a oiled k&n the oil can still get to the afm. It's basically a filter for the filter incase of large puddles.
The Apexi power intake takes a lot for water to get through. Also after about 65k miles when mine came out still looked brand new inside...
Apexi is a better filter.
Stay away from oiled filters. They will ruin the afm.
Can you use some aluminium or some plastic and make your own.
Also arc makes nice boxes but I don't think for the mk3. You could prolly mod a mk4 one to fit tho.
No it's just smarter and easier to leave the stock fan clutch. There is no real gain from electrics.
You can use something like a tauras fan that flows huge amounts of air. Will need to be oem and big. All the little tiny e fans are not going to come close and temps are going to rise.
Ya you read right. I always put then at an inch. Guess its more of a general guess thing for all cars.
Clutch should start engaging down before half way and should be fully engaged before you get to the freeplay. Outside of that there is no adjustment.
It is or it was in here unless moved.
Just because the coolant gauge and coolant are up to temp doesn't mean the oil is. If you just start the car and drive with a oil cooler and no t stat it's going to take a long time for the oil to get up to temp.
Can use a earls sandwich plate t stat at...
Wilwood. That's why you would have to make your own brackets.
Anything that is bolt on is expensive.
From what I have heard is that most people with the cobra kits wish they just spent more for the arz kit.
