Okay, so I figured I'd find out who watches the awesome engineering extremes that is formula one racing on here with a discussion of the happenings that unfolded at the USGP a couple of hours ago. I believe that the FIA's decision to totally eliminate the Michelin drivers from the linup by...
I forgot to mention in my earlier post. Though he does not have the widest selection available. By far the best person I have delt with was Kevin @ www.performancetuningsystems.com a mkIII owner himself as well.
Wow, I just ordered one from Elmhurst (Curt is an awesome guy to deal with by the way) for 89 bucks he said that the list was 109. And I planned on installing it myself.
I guess in a pinch though you gotta do what ya gotta do, it blowing in wisconsin (like 1500 miles from here, lol) I would...
Okay, I'm just going to stop posting until i see for sure some of these facts... Seems like reciently I have been saying a lot of the wrong things from people giving bad advice/fone facts.
Soo... I'll lurk from now on :p
Well, in all reality no one has questioned that they hold the power they are rated for. Wether its a rebadged PP or not, whatever they are doing seems to be working for thousands of Supra owners.
The point that the people (drjonez I think was one of them) make with the fact that they are...
I just bought a Spec stage 2 clutch. And I think I have the courage to install it myself in a month or so probably. (waiting for a bunch of stuff to come in) If you don't have it done by then I'll let you know how it goes.
Around the community I believe SPEC has a very good reputation. Some...
My bad Joe... I just went down to verify for sure that it said MA71; you were correct. It as well says MA70. Could have sworn it was 71, but I guess I was reading it somewhere else.

Seriously though, an aftermarket DP will eliminate the 1st cat (normally the problemed child) and I would go with a test pipe but if you wish a high flow will work by itself fine as well.
On a relatively stock car I...
Its also not totally accurate. 71s were supposed to be turbo and 70s were NAs. However, from what I remember it was something like they ran short on the 71 chassis they started just making 70 turbos too, I'm assuming thats what you've got.
So I'm looking around to see how I can drill the hole I need to mount my guages and since I'm doing my clutch soon I figured I'd just check to see if everything adjusted right at the pedal... low and behold, the pic. They say a picture speaks 1000 words, so I'll let it do the talking. What do...
Our turbo cars won't ever sound like a ricey civic just because of the blocking the exhaust from going straight out. I would personally go with the online branded exhausts. You're gaurenteed that they sound badass and the worksmanship on at least my Blitz NUR Spec is impeccable. Though it is...
^ wierdo ;)
I also noticed a temp drop after installing mine. I only drove the car a few times without it on but those were the only times i saw the guage actually get up to 1/2 way... maybe a little tiny bit over.
OK, heh, one more thing. I figure better be safe then sorry. Exactly what kind of grease am I buying to put on those components? I know its got some long complicated name in the TSRM (molybdenum disulphide lithium grease) but if I ask someone about that they just look dumbfounded. What kind of...
