I don't know if it is malfunctioning or not but my car with looking at the stock guage behaves the same with hearing the turbo spool. I think its simply because of the range of the guage. -4 is not very much since I believe -16 - -21 at idle is best; driving its probably even more vacuum. So...
Yea, I planned on getting it up as high as possible on stands, and then using the jack to remove the trans and just sort of roll it back a bit and lower it.
I have new fluid waiting to be installed, so I was going to do that as well.
I think my ninja arms should be able to do the trick ;)...
Okay, thanks guys. Is it that hard of a task to tackle? I really want to try and do it myself to avoid shop costs as well as potentially having something be screwed up without my knowing.
Hey everyone, finally I'm about ready to be able to do my clutch install (Spec stage II and Spec flywheel) . However I have a couple questions before I dive in. Obviously I will need to buy a couple more tools. I know I will need a snap ring tool to get that off; I have a torque wrench, however...
Hey guys, well, to start the story; going on a year ago in August I got my car and on the way back we hit a tractor trailer tire (big enough for me and my dad to think it was a small bear coming up on the highway) we hit it doing about 75. It destroyed the bumper cover and some other front end...
Its air that has been trapped in the heater core after filling the coolant, not uncommon it seems. What you can do is try to burp the system heres the sogi link on how to do it.

Just making sure... have you checked for codes to make sure that all the sensors are working. I don't particularly have any problem with throttle responce unless your lookinh for something like your street bike or something... in that case I don't think it'll ever happen.
every time I try to download this video I only get small portions of it each time. (approx 30 seconds in. But the download says complete at the end, just not the full size it should be. tried Mozilla and IE.
I wouldn't think that it would make any difference. Your throw will be quite a bit more stiff then his will though at the same height. Just to make sure you know before hand.
The simpler and much cheaper way to go I think is a piggyback; unless you want to go all out with a full standalone system. I believe from word of mouth here that the GReddy E-Manage is probably the most versatile piggyback out there right now. I would reccomend just sticking with the piggyback...
I'll look for you when I get to school where they have a managable internet connection available for me to use. I'll see if I can find it.
EDIT: I thought it did but apparently you are right, I cannot find it. It just talks about the fluid coupling and how it should be checked for leaking...
Yea, I would check to make sure that its not locked or otherwise malfunctioning. I don't really hear my fan too much unless I have been romping on it.
I believe in the TSRM it says how to check it. Something about how much you can spin it when the car is cold and off.
