Every now and then i will be driving and i will come to a stop, and i notice my car making slighlt more small vibrations and i look at the tach and the car is sitting at just above the 500 rpm mark. This is usually after a steady cruise or if the engine is rather warmer than if i was just stop...

i dont know how they get that damn upper arm bolt in there on the front, after slideing it otward, and behind the fender cover, i still hit a frame member and the damn thing wouldnt come out far enough to release the upper arm, took a lot of effort to get it out

i wouldnt put the red stuff in if youve got the green. Ive read that apparently the toyota redstuff tends to gum up when mixed with the green and its not likely youl be able to get all the green out. Again, this is what ive learned from the mr2 boards and im not entirely sure how accurate it is

if i were to pull a good working motor and simply replace the stock bearings with new stock bearings is that concidered good practice? Seeing as its not very expencive or hard to do, or should i just measure clearances and leave as is if they are decent. Also, is it easier to do a headgasket job...

Ive read that you can simply loosen the bolts on the subframe member to be able to get the oil pan off from under the 7m. What iwas wondering is is there enough room in there to remove and replace the oil pump? Im having weird idle pressure issues and id like to put in a new shimmed oil pump but...

Look at your starter, find the thin blue wire goin to it, pull the connector out, take a test lead and connect it from that terminal on the starter itself to the positive battery post, if it starts up you need to do the relay mod. If it doesnt and just clicks, you probly need a new starter

fix your battery connector before you try to figure out anything else, if you stil have issues after that, report back. A common problem in these supras is the starter wire, it gets old and builds resistance and doesnt have enough current carrying capacity to pull the plunger in the starter...

80k original miles. Thats what im confused about, idle pressure is real low but anything above idle is fine.

all cars are different. Some can stand to have extra oil in it and some arent very tolerant of more oil. The owners manual in every car i have seen has said to put the oil somewhere between the low and the full mark, doesnt have to be on full, let alone over. Many on here say its fine to fill...
