Heres my NA that i purchased a couple months ago.
Heres the exhaust i just made
Its an na with 83k original miles on body and engine, so far i have put megan coilovers on it and the exhaust, other than that its stock but a few things have been done for reliability. Also...
looks nice. I did something similar but with the 60mm gauges so the black part required some triming and fitting also but there was less of a gap. I wanna see this all lit up and purdy.
I had trouble witht he gauge faces hitting the front plastic, did you run into the same thing?
Just finished my fully custom exhaust for my NA. All i did was get 5 ft of strait 2.5" from the local shop along with a couple flanges and then got a 180 degree bend from summit and cut and weld, lots of little cuts and trial and error. Then got some steel rod from the hardware store, put it in...
Man, seems that everyone that uses the wink smiley always seems to agree on things.
If you need something to fix it quick go to home depot and get a brass strait through barb connector. Might as well replace the hose though unless you want to keep that feature of having a flush port there.
;)?
Ive heard a lot of different thoughts on fuel fiters. Ive read a huge article saying that the filters they used in our cars were ones that never needed to bo replaced and were made to last a lifetime. Others have said theirs were clogged and made a huge difference. Ive heard that the fuel filter...
You need to either unbolt the axle from the diff or pull the hub away from the ball joint or the axle has nowhere to go. It has a little bit of in/out movement but not as much as you need
it really depends on the situation. I dont think rings are necessary, but i would do the bearings if i was in your situation. It wont cost anywhere near 600 bucks to change the bearings especially if theyre the stock size itd be easy. You wouldnt want to do all this work and end up with rod...
lots of PB blaster. Unscrew the nut to the point where its flush with the end of the axle stub so when you beat on it theres less chance of fucking up the threads.
you can buy these things that have reverse threads on them that go over the lug. As you reverse your impact or breaker bar it screws down on the wheel lug and eventually grabs it hard enough to break it free.
i assume so i filled the form out about 30 mins ago and ive already got all 3 things packed up ready to ship tomorrow
Hopefully they will grant it to more than 1 person
Should probably delete the thread before theystart recieving a bunch of supra stuff that they cant do for free
No, i dont think turbo's are fake power, but theyre not the power im very interested in. Turbos are cool, dont get me wrong, they are very efficient, but unless im putting out MAJOR horsepower i feel like i should be able to do it without a turbo, and strictly design.
sounds like you need to bleed it better. Bleed the slave cylinder itself. Compress the slave cylinder under the car by pushing on the clutch release fork and compress the slave all the way, open bleeder, close bleeder, let it come back out, and repeat. Ive found that ive needed to do this on new...
street racing is illegal because youre risking other peoples lives, not like they deny track use. Anyways, we all have our own opinions, i dont think its fair to say its ok to break the law. Hope you guys understand that driving is a privilige, not a right, and you should treat it like one.
Whats wrong with the hose clamps? I find them a lot easier to remove in tight spaces so i find myself replacing the spring tensioned ones with hose clamps often, but i may stop if theres something wrong with them?
Ive been in a front end collision at a 35-40 mph combined speed in my MR2 vs a huge expedition. Me nor my partner was injured, but the lady in the expedition broke her arm (go figure). It was a severe impact and left my car and her car devistated. It was my fault(not racing related). Ive never...
