you guys are too damn sappy:-P its a freakin car, a hunk of metal. You should be thanking god that you got yourself to sell this hunk and move on to better things! Thats something a lot of people on here cant do.
The block and head should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected for pitting/flatness. If they pass then you don't need any machining, but since we have a very long head, and its aluminum its not unusual for the head to be slightly warped.
For oil pressure there are 2 unused threaded ports already. For your autometer gauge youre gonna need a 1/8BPTMale to 1/8NPT Female fitting. The block has BPT units and your autometer uses NPT.

Thats about all ive got. I guess its unique since its not a really flashy muffler like most people have. Plus i bought a steel rod and heated it/bent it for 2 of my 3 exhaust hangers:P now thats custom!
