Yes you will need a crank input. You use it from the cps tho. In the wiring diagram ne will be the crank signal and ge or g1 will be the cam. There will be a pickup in the cps that gets unused.
Then in tunerstudio the settings would be dual wheel. 24 tooth crank. 1 tooth cam. Will have to the...
I'm using a 2jzge fan clutch and fan blade on a 1j. It's off a sc300. Should be same as mk4.
If you use the ls400 it would have to be with a 7mgte fan clutch. As it will not bolt up properly.
Use the 2jz it will work better.
I would use oversized valve. Bc valves are not that expensive.
For the shim less put the cams in the head and get the clearances right and then measure from inside the bucket to the top of the shim. That will give you the thickness you need for the shimless. There are a few threads around that...
Its the metal spring or the pedal assembly. Seen this on tacomas a few times.
check where the spring meets the pedal and you will prolly see the spring wore into the pedal.
Your going to lock the tires up faster with a bbk than with stock brakes. Better braking = quicker stopping which = over powering the tires much faster.
Yes. Unless it has a blockage inside it. You could feel both hoses going to it. If they are both hot then it is fine. I would check the heater valve first and make sure the arm moves when you turn the heat on.
You can use any 1j or 2j starter.
The heater core is vehicle specific. Make sure the heater valve is working first. As if your full on coolant the heater core would be fine. Also could be one of the doors on the ac/heater box.
