im stationed in killeen tx, should be getting back around june. ive been stationed n killeen for a few years now and have only seen a few supras around. is there any more of us around there? if u are, let me know. maybe you can help we with my build lol
yes they will. for real though, your overdoing this.degrease and pressure wash the block tape it up and spray it with rattle can. high temp primer and high temp engine enamel. you will be surprised how good it actually looks if you do it rite and take your time. im going to be doing the same...
if the bottom end is in good shape then just let it be and get the block and head machined. throw a MHG and some arps on there and have a nice day. spend that extra money on putting the engine back together (I.E hoses, gaskets, hardware) your bound to run into some unexpected gremlins. heck go...
could be a bad spot in your TPS as well. if you have to hold the peddle to the floor to get it to start. i had that issue with my N/A way back when. i just unplugged it and it actually ran better. i eventually got a new one and soldered a new plug on. and yes the CPS is usually the culprit...
did i win? did i win? :) lol sorry for real though, i was really wanting to do a 1z or 2z but chose to stay with the 7m because of the price to do the swap the right way. one of these days i will. and ya create a build thread for sure :)
i think were forgetting the cost of actually doing the swap? not to mention the 1z or 2z.... for a complete swap your looking at about ??? 4 to 5 grand? now if i dump 5 grand into a 7m? the rite way? thats money... not to mention the aftermarket support for the 7m. is that not a valid point?
ive read all the threads and still some members say you need it and some say its not necessary. is it just better to have it for a tune? or is it because the factory wiring cannot handle the extra amps the walboro will pull? seroiusly lol.

its from summit. has anyone used one of these? looking for a upgrade, but still daily driver. going for 350 to 400 hp. may want to go bigger.
read somewhere that the 98 through 2000 ford contour fans are the way to do for cheap and effective electric cooling fans. im going to pick one up and wire it in. ive surfed the forum for a post to wire them up. my question is we do have a thermostat cooling switch correct? it works the little...
http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2003/02/electricfan/index.php
thats all i could find good luck. the link above shows a way to do it, but i think a good thermostat switch would work fine. i would run a straight hot to the battery (fused of course, at least a 60A DC) and the thermostat switch...
ya for real, this is my second supra and i am still yet to encounter a BHG. my first (which was a 87 N/A) had over 210k in the clock before it stopped working and ran like a champ. even after running it red hot several times due to a bad coolant hose it still ran fine. drove to texas and back...
