To pull the rear timing cover yes the head has to come off as it's a sealing surface for the head gasket.
Besides if the motor is already out might as well change the hg while it's easy.
Are the injectors side feed or top feed? High z or low z?
720cc injectors are too big for stock Ecu. Better off running 440 and a safc. Or switching to a standalone.
a jzx90 harness has the same pinouts as a soarer ecu.
what your missing is the rest of it. So basically you need to get the connectors to the ecu that your missing which is like 7 wires and then you need to find the wires to connect to the body harness plugs and add the body harness plugs...

I've been dd my mk3's for like 7 or 8 yeArs. Nothing wrong with it at all.
Bhg could be easily fixed in a days time. Remove head take to machine shop. Clean up the block. Put new gasket and machined head on and torque to 75 ft lbs. will be fine. Don't need mls or arp.
Really should hook it up. There is nothing to gain by not and your only losing.
Also by not hooking up the charcoal canister and running the line how you did you basically have a vacuum leak.
