Check your coils for cracks. My coil had a slight crack in it so I swapped it out with a different coil. My break up went away for the most part but still happens 'sometimes' so I need to check the other 2 coils.
Yep. The deer died. Most might find this inhuman, but I pissed in its ear. It caused so much damage to my baby I had to get even. My girlfriend wouldn't let me run over and drop some UFC on its ass.
I'm already making plans to find parts to fix her. She WILL make it back on the road. The damage could of been a lot worse but it wasn't.
Yeah I know! We're taking so many hits now.
We're both okay for the most part other than a few slight back aches. We're not sure if its from the massive...
So I never hoped this would happen.
On my way home driving down a back road that I often travel, I'm going slow keeping an eye out for those 4 legged annoyances. When out of the field, up and over a hill, comes a 100+ lbs doe. Foot down at about 40 mph but it was just too late for it to help...
I bet when the top end was rebuilt they reused the front cam seals causing it to leak down the front end of the engine, leaking from the bottom timing case.
Never said you have to abuse a transmission to kill it. I'm merely saying the one time something does hook up good enough things will break. Like doing a burn out and trying to go into 2nd, only takes one time..
The ISCV sucks in air from the charcoal canister? I thought the ISCV was always open when the throttle is closed which is confirmed by the "pinch the ISCV hose while running and watch it die" test.
If you want to try and correct someone who is bashing someone, get your information correct.

Here. You asked for hard numbers and you said none were posted.
What car has the w58 mated to a v8? If the w58 is so rugged, why does it crumple when decent torque is thrown at it?
At the OP, if you're worried about breaking it you probably will. Make sure everything is in great condition before you start beating on it. My .02
I'd say around 420-430 rwhp range depending on the MHG thickness difference and just how badly the walls were scarred. Fine tuning with the EMS and a fresh block will give a few more numbers but I wouldn't expect an eye opening change.
Now if you decide to up the boost..:naughty:
You would think that running lean would give you better gas mileage but on a properly functioning egr system it won't pull as much timing due to seeing detonation from the lean condition.
Hard evidence has been provided, higher EGT's and it'll run lean at cruise/slight loads because the EGR is not recirculating the gases back into the cylinder. This is not a myth but a fact.
I know how you feel. I had a drunk driver in a acura TSX merge into my lane with me still in it. Resulted in me slamming on my brakes and blowing the horn as loud as I could. Even called the cops and reported it hoping he'd get pulled over down the road.
Sucks about the car but glad you're...
