That's true, I think I remember seeing Williams using a pneumatic setup. I don't know if they are still using it though, as it seemed awfully slow compared to the manual ones.
Snap-on is the best, but if you looked at their prices you would think they were at least 2x as good as the next competitor. Which just isn't the case.
To start, I'm impressed that you went to such lengths when you installed it to make sure this didn't happen.
Was the fan loose on the clutch? Was the clutch tight up against the water pump? I see you've got an 87, which makes this less likely, but maybe check out your motor mounts and see if...
I'm getting the feeling here that a lot of you guys are not using the proper jack points.
If you want to be able to jack it up without driving on some small blocks or something first, something like this is what I would like to get eventually...
Just wondering, was this a complete 7M-GTE and electronics set swapped in place of a 7M-GE or is it some kind of hybrid in the traditional sense of NA-T?

lppro - You know that the spec for the crank pulley is 195 ft/lbs right? Putting a wrench on it isn't going to cut it.
