I'm currently using the stock brand new PP and clutch disk with my current mods and it's held to a few clutch dumps at 3500 with hankook ventus rs3's. How much longer will it hold? No clue.
We're running close to the same setup or atleast will be, I'm going with this clutch kit when mine lets...
This knock sounds a lot more aggressive than the previous knock not to mention it's much faster. I would have to say that atleast pull the oil pan and try to move the connecting rods and look for heat marks.
Sorry but I can't give you the benefit of the doubt for even fully reading your post due to the fact you got such a deal on this car AND you had the balls to ask for a partial refund while keeping the car.
Screw that, you showed him/her everything wrong with it AND gave him/her one hell of a deal. He/she knew what he/she was getting in to and now he/she just wants to get a little more from you, seeing how much you've already done.

Ugh, that brings shivers down my spine. I've seen what a piston skirt can do to a crank. We nuked my 99 yz 250 2 stroke once and the skirt went in between the crank and the connecting rod.:cry:
You asking the old worn out fuel pump to supply MORE fuel than it was intended to do AND question why it's not working properly?
Do this, walbro 255 or comparable and the AFPR kit. The j-tube is a massive restriction in the fuel system not to mention all the banjo bolts.
Mine was almost seized to the studs, not the surface. It was a PITA even after I got the surfaces to split apart. I used a dead blow hammer and a vise along with WD40.

Okay, you don't know what code 52 does to the ecu on these cars.
With code 52 and your car sees ANY boost, it GREATLY pulls timing and makes the car go very rich in order to prevent any damage. Do not try to 'race' the engine in anyway with code 52.

Well, if you went from fine but crappy cps wire to rewired cps but no start, I'd say a frail wire broke during the rewire OR a you rewired incorrectly.
