Yes, a boost leak can cause erratic engine operation while under acceleration.

The coupler on the TB is 2 3/4. Cap off the piping at the turbo and pressurize it from the TB.

Car doesn't have ABS and it doesn't seem that the leaking is coming from the speed sensor. It's wet mostly around the rear extension half. Shifter boot is still there and last I checked it was good on fluid, just royal purple 75W90 fluid.

Anyone else had 'hot air' coming from around the shifter? I'm going to try replacing the transmission fluid and see if it stops leaking. I'm using royal purple 75w90 and it seems after some research, the transmission doesn't like it. I've got a new gallon of redline MT fluid here so hope it helps.

Glad to know that retiming it helped you, it seems most people forget to retime it when they play with the tps.

When you recalibrate the TPS, retime it as well. You'll have to put a timing light on and move the CPS with T1/TE1 jumped and set it to 10 degrees.

Could I just ask why? The car is completely stock and your DD, what are you looking to gain from this?

Make sure you check the valve caps and springs.

Make sure you reconnected the ground going to the transmission along with the ground near the starter.

I thought my car wasn't going to boost past 8 psi til I left it floored in 4th.. Then my stock boost gauge maxed out and started bending the needle.
