Okay so you're running a walbro 255, did you delete the jtube? I had similar problems til I installed the DM AFPR kit, set the base pressure to 36 psi and now she runs strong to redline everytime.
My speedometer stopped working so I climbed under my car to find that not only has the speedometer cable been rubbing against the downpipe but that my R154 has been leaking like mad.
I double checked all my bolt torques to make sure it wasn't something stupid along with checking the speedometer...
Have you removed the PS res along with all the little things on the head? The coolant port on the back of the head?
Look around the entire block and make sure you didn't forget something.
Did you use something like a spray on adhesive?
So I just installed my AFPR kit from DM and it fixed a lot of my issues.
It turns out there was a nice bent wall on the FPR hardline causing my base pressure to be higher than expected. It fixed my issues where the car would sputter around 3.5k to 4k along with the car wanting to die when I...
Just being curious, have you tried taking the AFPR apart and make sure there's no trash in it? If it's jumping from 60-80 PSI I'd say there's a restriction inside the AFPR.
I have the RS3's. In the dry or hot I LOVE these tires, in the rain they're not bad as long as you drive with sense.
I can turn over the rs3's in first and sometimes second, my mods in sig.
Also, make sure your wastegate isn't stuck. It should start to move around 3-4 PSI and be open by 6 PSI. Just pressurize it the same way you'd check for boost leaks.
Code 51 is TPS and code 52 is knock sensor. Fix these and you might be surprised.
Also make sure your boost controller is hooked up properly.
Running a car hard, trying to 'see what shes got' with a code 52 is very stupid IMO.
Well, take this into account.
A car at higher elevation will make less power than the same exact car at sea level.
This might be a good read for you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_pressure
I know a FI airplane engine will normally maintain power to X altitude whereas a NA airplane...
