Problem is getting worse over time, something is going to let go.
Mine's acting stupid today too, backfiring black smoke along with a stupid ass idle issue.
So you've boost leak tested the system and double checked all vacuum lines. Last few things I could think of to try and find it would be compression test to see if you've still got a healthy engine and smoke test your vacuum system.
Why not just hook it back up to the turbo? You'll get a more 'accurate' reading as to the output of the turbo itself and be able to see the PSI lost in the IC/piping.
So what you're saying is, you hear the squeak when the belt is having to turn the fan with resistance. Sounds like the surface on the belt is too smooth to 'grab' the clutch fan pulley to turn it without it squealing.
So, in conclusion to this thread we've got a few people backing up this dyno run with a sheet to show it. We also have several people who've run upgraded CT's on higher compression and put down around 25% LESS torque but have dyno/track times to back it up.
Something is picking at my brain...
With it being on a prepped track, will a street tire really hook THAT much better? So instead of roasting first and some of second you'll just roast first and chirp second. Depending on how far out they prep the track you might still have second gear problems.
If you do one HELL of a driver...
That's interesting, never knew the ISCV program was different between the A/T and M/T. Would the A/T ecu on a M/T make it idle higher or lower? Or would the lack of neutral safety switch input change it?
Do you see the lack of information you decided to give us on your "can't burnout" post? Next time you post, put down a little more information.. What you're requesting isn't a burnout, you're asking for a dead stop punch with tires squealing.
If you're asking for a little more torque or a...
I take that offense to that, must be one of the owners who whines about their car getting beat by others while it's all stock with 20+ year old parts on it. So you decide to cut a whole bunch of shit off of it and start rigging stuff together then wonder WHY it won't start, call it a piece of...
