Lex afm with stock injectors will cause a lean condition as the MAF is seeing the same airflow but it's getting 25% more air. The ecu doesn't see this so it doesn't add more fuel to the engine so if you do the math.. 25% more air and the same amount of fuel=boom.
There are some people that have...
My manual car is the same way. Ghetto hardpipes(PO used exhaust piping to piece together hardpipe) apexi intake and borla catback with a ct2657 and it's trying to max out the gauge with boost leaks.
Why don't you get someone to help you for a second, get in the car and floor it(With it off..) then get your friend to see if he can wiggle the throttle linkage I.E. open it more or try to close it.
I'd love to hear your DM exhaust as I'm interested in it as well..
I tell my girlfriend all the time "I'll make sure you have what you NEED and SOME of the things you want"
I'm doing something similar.. Just stocking up on parts for when the event happens that I'll go t4.
What's the turbonetics T58 rated at?
If you go standalone with a MAP sensor, you won't need the lex afm along with the ISCV.
You can get close to 400rwhp on a ct2657 on 16 psi with stock everything but hardpipe/ic/550s/lexafm/walbro255/EBC or even a MBC.
Those that are smart try for a little bit of tuning for more reliability..
Not tie him in a chair but give him to those families who's lives he destroyed.. I myself would tie ropes to everything possible on him and tell all the families to start pulling..
For those of you that wanted to see pictures of the shell, http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?145015-My-white-88-supra-rebuild-build%2856k-beware-lots-of-pictures%29&p=1858845#post1858845
Sorry they're so far away it was after business hours and the chain was locked.
Okay well, update!
My car is at the body shop getting fixed from the deer in http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?156272-Well-it-happened
Here are some pictures of how sad my car looks behind the chainlink fence..
This is the red shell I bought for 400 bucks.
They've...
So are you suggesting against a MAP over MAF system then? Isn't the MAF 'guessing' about the airflow through the sensors since it doesn't read the whole opening or is it sophisticated enough to have already counted for the air that passes around the sensor?
The one in stafford? Yep for 400. The shell isn't in bad shape except for the targa looking like a semi ran it over..
If you're in springfield we'd have to hang out sometime.
I don't think they're quite THAT remote.. I think he was meaning to like hiding it on under your seat or something..
I'm not entirely sure they're even 'remote' but still wire connected.
What was the reason for running a silvia radiator? Forgive me but isn't the radiator smaller then a mk3 supra radiator?
I'd figure the 240, even if it is the sr20 radiator would be quite a bit smaller than the mk3 turbo radiator.
If I remember correctly they converted to 5 lug and used the old porsche carrera setup. There's a bug restore/performance shop a short ways from me that comes to the shop all the time asking for us to drill and press in new lugs etc etc.
