This. The w58 clutch/PP package will be plenty to hold the torque of a NA 7m with intake/exhaust. Just don't put on some 10.5" slicks and try a drag launch.
That makes me giggle inside then, my friend keeps ragging on me about his 350z saying I don't stand a chance. I'm still breaking in my engine/fixing some problems with it so we've never been able to run.
If the gate was stuck slightly open, you wouldn't get the BAM effect he's saying. When he says BAM I'm thinking from not going anywhere to full boost haulin ass. A slightly stuck open would cause the PSI to crawl up.
Okay, you can't visual test vacuum lines. Is the CEL flashing? Any CEL codes?
Black smoke is rich, very rich.
An easy way to adjust your TPS is turn the TPS so that you've got the TPS CEL then slowly turn it back until the code goes away. You have to key off/on for it to realize anything changed.
If you have a higher flowing fuel pump you need to drill out the jtube and probably get an AFPR. Chances are that at full throttle your car is running too rich and bogging itself out.
Well my BOV works at higher PSI but I don't like the flutter at the low throttle. I don't want my ct2657 with around 2k miles to get damaged from a stupid mistake by me.
So I finally got around to installing the DM IC kit, old version, and for the first few days the BOV was working great, popping off at low throttle. I drive the car around yesterday and notice it's a lot quieter than normal but still pops off at higher psi 2+.
I have a few questions, with the...
I'd like to add in to the people using the MAF system still. Even though you're maintaining the PSI in the intake manifold and on the boost gauge, you're pulling in more air to cover the loss of PSI in the IC/piping of your system. What I'm saying is, say at 3k rpm you're running RIGHT at the...
