There should be a bolt holding the face of the steering wheel on. Once thats out the face should pop off. Take off the nut that holds the wheel on, and get your steering wheel puller out.

I think you need to do a little more research around the FAQ/tech threads on this topic. Even if you swap out the AFM for a MAP setup, fuel cut will be exactly the same.
IIRC it's one big piece and part of the timing cover.
You need to take all the timing stuff off the front of the motor, then it will come off. I've never done it but you might want to see how the oil pan seals up as well, just to be sure you can get it back on without creating a huge leak.
