I liked the old better.
I always had the impression that your car was a beat up, busted pile of junk from the image in your sig. Truth is its about as nice as any of the well kept MK3s I've seen.
I did for a bit, liked it a lot. Only thing is (as with all MMOs) there are so many features that everyone else seems to know but I dont... I just get annoyed and stop.
This is WAY WAY off topic, LOL.
Like JBL shows, you can easily make good power on a stock ECU. He uses JE's BTW.
Would he have made more power on a well set up stand alone and all the same hard parts? Probably.
I have found that 90% of people will tell you nothing that really holds water as far as tuning with the stock ECU...
Whats the point of a "performance" bearing? Nothing should be touching the bearing anyway, and if surface finish is what they advertise then the OEM designed for longevity would be just as good.
So, wait... you're asking if you can run the car on an open turbo so you can... ugh, forget it.
I suggest you drive like that for a while, windows up, without the rear hood seal, and the A/C blasting.
*Hopefully that'll do it* ;)
You don't have a hood gasket on do you. That air isn't coming in from the engine bay, LOL.
Your valve covers are leaking onto the exhaust manifold and burning, you don't have a hood gasket, so its getting sucked into HVAC. Mystery solved.
Now please stop wasting Mike's bandwidth.
It can be done, but its a lot more then just using like a hydraulic motorcycle lever or something.
There is a CORR truck racer who I believe is a paraplegic.
LOL, and then the other couple thousand a week replacing everything in it. Plus, engineering something to cut power for a few milliseconds on shifts.
Plus how much leverage and hydraulic advantage you would lose like that.
Why not just get a slush box built to be not as slushy and get a stand...
