the maf are different from turbo to na, which i see you discovered and modded to fit. you will notice its a litter louder as it doesnt have the stock airbox to limit the "intake hiss". as for bov being louder i dont really see it unless you go to either the vpc or maft and vent to air rather...

the cc keeps the smell of raw gas down. with it gone it will vent fuel vapors from the line into the hood area (since i assume the hose isnt capped) and can potentially casue a fire.
